Ok, so, I'm actually quite lazy. You've probably gathered that by now, though. So the reason I haven't updated this blog in a while isn't because I've tried to do something and it failed. It's simply because... I haven't done anything. However, I have done something today (funny how it seems to only be on a school day that I actually get any of my projects done).
But the thing is, I haven't done what I said I would do. Instead, I've tried something simpler. Here's a picture of it so far.

And no, that isn't a slice of bread. It's a piece of a table mat which I've sellotaped the hooks to. This isn't finished, though. This is just a prototype. I'll try it out on the wall tomorrow (though I don't expect it to do especially well) and then improve on it from there. I'll add another set or two of hooks to the end of each row, since there's space, then try again on the wall, and if I'm happy with it, I'll take off the sellotape and attach them again with super glue. I might also solder the hooks together to stop them moving about so much, but I'll see how much of a problem it is.
